What Women Find Romantic (Part 1 of 2)

Jul 27

What is romance?  Do you have images of a knight on a white horse rescuing the beautiful helpless lass from her troubles?  Don’t hold your breath!  In today’s world, romance just seems harder to find. A request for a date sent via text message doesn’t scream romantic. So what can you do to put a little romance back into your relationship? Here’s a list of ideas that you can do for her.

Romantic Date Ideas:

  • Eat sexy food. Food you have to play with is best – like fondue. It’s fun and you’ll end up feeding each other.
  • Have a candlelit dinner. A classic that stands the test of time. Everybody looks great in candlelight!
  • Take her back to a special place. This involves listening closely and remembering details: perhaps she mentioned a lovely childhood memory, take her back to that special place.
  • Be creative. Take her somewhere that she wouldn’t normally go like adventure golf or bowling.  The excitement of doing something new can easily lead to a sexy buzz.
  • Have a moonlight picnic.  Everything looks beautiful in moonlight, creating a very romantic setting. Wait for full moon; plan a picnic in the garden or at the beach.
  • Make food together. Grab some groceries and make something yummy at home. All that touching, tasting, stirring and licking…
  • Go wine tasting. The old saying is: In vino veritas – in wine, there is truth. There is also a very good time!

Big Turnoffs That Kill Romance

  • Being too competitive.
  • Taking a recovering alcoholic to a bar, or a vegetarian to a steakhouse. Find out a little more about her before making plans.
  • Making sexual moves on a first date.
  • Talking on your phone during the date.
  • Asking her what she thinks is romantic and then doing exactly that- put your own creative spin on it.
  • Getting nasty with waiters or service people.
  • Chewing with your mouth open.
  • Taking her to McDonald’s or a fast food joint for a first date.
